A new chapter in traditional arts education begins at the Naqsh School of Crafts!
On 5 October 2026, the Naqsh School of Crafts will welcome its first cohort of students to a two-year, full-time Diploma Programme, designed and delivered by The King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in collaboration with the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation.
Combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, the programme draws inspiration from Uzbekistan’s rich architectural heritage, introducing students to the principles of beauty, harmony and traditional craftsmanship.
Through practice-based research, traditional skills development and creative exploration, students will develop their abilities as both designers and makers, connecting centuries-old artistic traditions with contemporary creative practice.
We look forward to welcoming our first cohort and embarking on this journey together!
